Hi! The weather has been crazy lately. Really hot in the day and rainy in the evenings. It's been a hectic month and with the flu season spoiling all our plans, we've been ill and with work piling up it's just work, work & work. So to catch up with March, here's a little of what I've managed to do this past month.
This was the initial card I wanted to give Usha for the Card exchange. The theme was garden and I kinda spoilt the whole thing after I mounted in on felt and then on card again! Yikes, What was I thinking!!!. Had it designed on my computer and printed out.
Started stitching the details on the card. Had a hard time pulling the thread thru the card, maybe it was the wrong sized needle. Nevertheless, it turned out quite nice.
Simple stitches on a Conqueror Card. Had the leaf template pinned to the felt and had it cut.
Attached the felt leaves on and then I had trouble cutting the piece out. It didn't look good on a small card. Should have just left it in a big blank piece of card. Duh! So now, it's on top of my shelf and I still have no idea what to do with it.
A little something for Margaret. It's the box that houses my latest craze.....
A crocheted pincushion ! Sugar-free delight. Am thinking of setting shop at Etsy.
My latest favourite magazine. This magazine comes complete with patterns and ideas to sew for little kids. Now all I need is TIME!
