Some 'behind-the-scenes' and preparations from my cousin's wedding last February. Congratulations once again to Soon & Tessa!!! And thanks to all who were involved in the preparation work. What a wonderful team of wedding planners you all make! Especially my parents!!!!

| It always begins with the tier. I have in hand all manner and sizes of styrofoam in storage. It helps with the mix and matching when building a tier. |

| Securing it to see if it will stand upright. No leaning tower of Pisa here. |
![]() |
| I used a satay stick. They're life savers when you want to reposition the tiers as you work on it. I think the splinters grip onto the styrofoam like velcro. Nice! |

| I made table no. stands as well. The ones from the restaurants look old and boring. |

| Hand cut these from glittery foam. Love this new foam sheets that come in a myriad of glitters! |
![]() |
| All cut and ready for assembly. |
![]() |
| Pinning them strategically so they seem fluttering about. |

| See that gloss and shine! |
![]() |
| All done! Phew! |

| Mixing a matching teal with some poster colours. The frame is a DIY photo frame made of quality chipboard. Brilliant for an arch. |

| Once dry, I always like to layer my poster coloured work with Mod Podge. This is a sparkle coating. Yes, it needs to shine subtlely. |

| My Mom is my life saver! She's helping me to assemble the origami swallows and the Hershey kisses into this tiny tiny little bamboo steamer I bought from Weddings.com.my |

| The swallows were made by a good friend of mine from our crafting group. |
