Gifts From Paul!

Look what came in the mail! We were supposed to exchange a skein of yarn for a little project of mine and Paul was so generous to include all these lovely goodies. Even Nigel received something special. Thank you Paul for being so sweet and generous. : )

Look at all these goodies! Buttons, buttons , ribbons and beads, you sure know how to make a gal happy!!! Check out the homemade card on the far left.
Here's Nigel with Patootie (my penguin gift from Paul during the last stitching -bee) and Pinkie (the piggy amigurumi to Nigel). Aren't they the cutest of friends! Paul even gave Nigel a pack of glow in the dark accessories so he can stick them on the wall of his own room.

A New Messenger Bag for Nigel

This is my first attempt at crocheting a messenger bag. A special request by Nigel and in his current favourite cartoon show colours 'BEN TEN'! I should try crocheting an omnitrix for him, although it won't have any zapping and zooming functions. LOL! He's still bugging us to get one from the toy shop!! But Nah! It's just way to expensive.



Double yarn effects! I think I must have used 7-8 colours in all.
The back of the bag. A very easy pattern actually. A large rectagular piece with two black spines for the sides. The straps are sewn in.

Creative Exchange from Kelly!

I received my creative exchange from Kelly this week and I wanted to share this beautiful little piece of art. It's a collage of cute little felt hearts, brads, Japanese cotton and buttons. She even included a swatch of polka dot material from her stash - And everything is in my favourite colours. Thanks Kelly!

Grace & Spencer's Wedding Catch Up

I've finally compiled some photos from Gracie's wedding, I love all of them and I'm beginning to miss her since she left last week for the states. The photos here are in no particular order, they feature the people behind the scenes, the going-ons and the fantastic coming together of family and friends.
